26 апреля в рамках II Англоязычного Форума, организованного проектом «Развитие иноязычной компетенции студентов ТГУ» прошла английская сессия конференции Высшей Школы Журналистики «Актуальные проблемы журналистики».
В сессии приняли участие следующие докладчики:

2. Бердникова Анастасия - Polysemantic words in the headlines of British newspapers
3. Теплов Дмитрий - Film reviews in English-language newspapers: Structure and Linguistic Techniques
4. Вшивков Алексей - Lead as structure element of news stories in British newspapers
5. Кочергина Юлия - Chat bots: personification and machine learning
6. Янина Алина - Presentation of political news on late-night talk shows and its specifity («The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon» and «The Evening Urgant»)
Организаторами английской сессии и руководителями докладов являются старший преподаватель факультета иностранных языков Шостак Галина Ивановна и преподаватель Пьянзина Олеся Валерьевна. Доклады вызвали живой интерес аудитории и множество вопросов, в том числе от декана ВШЖ Мясникова Ильи Юрьевича.
The conference of Higher School of Journalism "Urgent Issues of journalism"
On April 26, within the framework of II English Forum of the project " Foreign Language Competence Development of TSU students", the conference of Higher School of Journalism "Urgent Issues of journalism" was held.
The following speakers participated in the English session:
1. Natalia Ovechkina - Celebrities in the texts of British newspapers
2. Anastasia Berdnikova - Polysemantic words in the headlines of British newspapers
3. Dmitry Teplov - Film reviews in English-language newspapers: Structure and Linguistic Techniques
4. Alexey Vshivkov - Lead as structure element of news stories in British newspapers
5. Julia Kochergina - Chat bots: personification and machine learning
6. Yanina Alina - Presentation of political news on late-night talk shows and its specifity («The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon» and «The Evening Urgant»)
The organizers of the session and reports supervisors are the Senior Lecturers of Foreign Languages Department Shostak Galina Ivanovna and Pianzina Olesya Valerievna. The reports aroused a keen interest from the audience and a lot of questions, including questions from Ilya Yuryevich Myasnikov, dean of Higher School of Journalism.
