13 апреля 2018 года в Институте прикладной математики и компьютерных наук состоялся мастер-класс в рамках проекта «Развитие иноязычной компетенции студентов ТГУ» для первокурсников отделения компьютерных наук, обучающихся по направлению «Программная инженерия».
Мастер-класс на английском языке по теме «Командная работа в GIT», провел аспирант Данила Соколов. Он рассказал о свободной, с открытым исходным кодом распределённой системе управления версиями Git, созданной Линусом Торвальдсом, которая используется для отслеживания изменений в компьютерных файлах и координации работы c этими файлами.
Данила объяснил суть системы и поделился своим опытом работы с Git. Тема оказалась интересной для студентов первого курса, и поэтому в ходе мастер-класса было задано много вопросов.
Мероприятие было организовано старшими преподавателями кафедры английского языка естественнонаучных и физико-математических факультетов Л.В. Артамоновой и Т.В. Шиловой и аспирантом Института прикладной математики и компьютерных наук Денисом Змеевым.

Master-class for students of the institute of applied mathematics and computer sciences
On April 13, 2018 the master-class «Team work in GIT» within the framework of the project “Foreign Language Competence Development of TSU Students” was conducted for the first - year students of Software Engineering department at the Institute of Applied Mathematics and Computer Sciences.
The PhD student Danila Sokolov supervised the students work. He told the students about Git - a free and open source distributed version control system, created by Linus Torvalds, which is used for tracking changes in computer files and coordinating work on those files among multiple people. Danila gave essential information about Git and shared his experience in using it. The first-year students, attending the event, were interested in the topic and asked a lot of questions during the master-class.
The senior teachers of the Department of the English Language for Natural Sciences, Physics and Mathematics Faculties Lidia V. Artamonova and Tatyana V. Shilova arranged the event.
