10 апреля в рамках проекта «Развитие иноязычной компетенции студентов ТГУ» его участники – второкурсники Института Биологии и их преподаватели английского языка Л.Ю. Минакова, Е.А. Мельникова, Е.В. Вычужанина – посетят открытую лекцию «Экология и разнообразие микроорганизмов».
Лекцию проводит кандидат биологических наук, доцент кафедры физиологии растений и биотехнологии Франк Ю.А.
Студенты углубятся в изучение микробного мира, получат представление о филогенетическом и метаболическом разнообразии микроорганизмов, распространении и особенностях экологии прокариот; смогут оценить роль микроорганизмов в круговороте веществ в природе.
Мероприятие пройдет в 14.45 в 215 аудитории главного корпуса ТГУ.
Открытая лекция проводится на английском языке.
Immerse into microbiology: Ecology and Diversity of Microorganisms
We are excited to announce an open lecture “Ecology and Diversity of Microorganisms” on April, 10th for second – year students of the Institute of Biology, participants of “The project for English-speaking environment formation for the students of TSU”.
The keynote speaker is Dr. Yulia A. Frank, an Associate Professor at the Department of Plant Physiology and Biotechnology.
The goal of the lecture is to introduce the world of microorganisms, provide insight into the phylogenetic and metabolic diversity of germs, ecology of prokaryote, the role of microbes in the ecosystem, and afford students an opportunity to ask and discuss any questions on the topic declared.
The lecture will be held in English.
