Within the project “Foreign Language Competence Development of TSU Students”a Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor of Radiophysics Department Dmitriy Sukhanov delivered an open lecture in English on November, 29. The organizers of the event were senior lecturers Olga Kharapudchenko and Elena Krasilova. The lecture was devoted to application of ultrasound. Ultrasound is used for nondestructive testing, cutting and welding, imaging of hidden objects, as well as for medical purposes. Dmitriy presented the developments of the department of Radiophysics. The speaker showed much interest in his topic. A lot of questions were asked at the end of the lecture. We want to thank D.Sukhanov for his contribution to the development of the English language environment at Radiophysics department.

В рамках проекта «Развитие иноязычной компетенции студентов ТГУ» доктор физико-математических наук, профессор кафедры радиофизики Дмитрий Суханов 29 ноября прочитал лекцию на английском языке. Организаторами мероприятия выступили старшие преподаватели Ольга Харапудченко и Елена Красилова. Лекция была посвящена применению ультразвука. Ультразвук используется для неразрушающего контроля, резки и сварки, визуализации скрытых объектов, а также для медицинских целей. Дмитрий рассказал о разработках кафедры радиофизики. В конце лекции было задано много вопросов. Мы хотим поблагодарить Д. Суханова за его вклад в развитие англоязычной среды на радиофизическом факультете.
